Meet the Pin Maker: Little Arrow by Bri Bulski
Meet the Maker of our August enamel pin! Bri Bulski is an illustrator and product designer residing in Eugene, Oregon. She founded Little Arrow in 2013 after she left her job as Art Director at a nationally recognized greeting card company. She did not attend college but instead learned the graphic design trade on the job. The name Little Arrow is significant on a personal level, and reminds her to always move forward no matter what, even if she’s scared of the future and what she’s trying to accomplish seems impossible. She does her best to pay attention and follow her internal compass, the “little arrow” inside her heart.
Bri’s parents own the local flea market where she grew up helping out. Lovingly called “The Flea”, she’s scored a ton of fun and weird vintage prize possessions over the years and to this day it’s her favorite way to spend a Sunday morning. Her cheery design studio is decorated with bright colors and items she’s found thrifting. Her designs are heavily influenced by toys and memorabilia from her childhood and vintage clothing and costume jewelry. She loves unicorns, rainbows, and anything that symbolizes positivity. She loves to design products that make people smile and laugh when they see them.
When she’s not in the studio she’s lifting weights at the gym, having a cocktail with her gal pals, or exploring Oregon with her husband and 2 dogs. Her most favorite meal is a cheeseburger and a chocolate milkshake and her favorite album is a toss-up between Post by Björk, Singles by Future Islands, and Hounds of Love by Kate Bush.
