The original wind-up critter was assembled by hand, along with 4,500 of its brothers and sisters, by designer Chico Bicalho using a simple gearbox and wires. Now you can relive the exciting experience of assembling one of these primordial critters yourself. Attach the legs and booties to the gearbox, fix the key in place, wind it up, and watch your critter wander excitedly.
